Small efforts and initiatives lead a person to great heights, and humility is a must to achieve honour, Chhattisgarh Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu said on Tuesday.
Never be arrogant when you achieve success, failing which you will crash, he said.
Sahu was addressing a state-level convention and oath taking ceremony of the Congress party’s Other Backward Class (OBC) wing here.
Sahu, the National President of the Congress OBC wing, chaired the concluding session of the convention, inaugurated by Food Minister and tribal leader Amarjeet Bhagat.
Bhagat said the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe community are deeply connected with the Congress. It is the OBC, represented by 54 percent population of the state, that swings and decides who forms the government, he said.
New office bearers of the OBC wing took oath after getting their appointment letters.
