Chhattisgarh Police on Monday arrested six persons from Andhra Pradesh and brought them here for operating an online betting racket via Mahadev app.
Durg Superintendent of Police Shalabh Kumar Sinha identified them as Pinto Roy, Prasant Kori, Vikas Kumar Sahu, Sourabh Jaiswal, Rohit Rohra and Jagdish Konatala.
The first five are residents of Durg district while Konatala hails from Andhra Pradesh.
They were nabbed from Mithilapur Colony at Madhurwada in Visakhapatnam following a tip during its investigation against online betting racket.
The police seized 10 mobile phones, a laptop, three ATM cards, three bank cheque books, a WiFi router and other documents from them.
On Sunday, seven persons were arrested in Bilaspur for online betting.
