Gariaband Zila Panchayat on Monday decided to appoint new ‘Sikshakarmis’ in the district at its general body meeting.
President Zila Panchayat Dr Sweta Sharma, Vice President Paras Thakur, along with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) G Kindo took part in the meeting.
It was decided in the meeting that records related to the appointments of Sikshakarmis of all groups (1, 2 and 3) would be called from Raipur within 10 days. The list of Sikshakarmis attached with different departments along with vacant posts of Sikshakarmis in every block will also be updated.
The process for preparing budget estimation for year 2015-16 would also be started soon. The District Education Officer (DEO) was instructed not to appoint Sikshakarmis of group-3 as Cluster coordinator. Consensus was also reached over demanding lease amount from Raipur Zila Panchayat for Sikaser reservoir.
