Seven children of a Government Primary School in Sarona on the outskirts of Raipur were injured when a segment of the plaster on the ceiling fell on them on Tuesday.
The children were rushed by Sanjeevani Express to Dr B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Hospital in Raipur but on account of the junior doctors strike in the hospital they were taken to the Raipur District Hospital for treatment, it was learnt.
All children are out of danger and were given primary treatment, hospital officials informed. Meanwhile, the Congress workers led by Raipur City District President Vikas Upadhyaya reached the hospital while demanding compensation from the State government for the children injured in the incident.
