Minister housing and environment Mohammed Akbar will be chief guest at a seminar which will be followed by poster writing and quiz competition prize distribution ceremony scheduled on World Environment Day on June 5.
The event will be held at new Circuit House, Civil Lines, Raipur at 4.00 pm.
Former Minister and Raipur Rural MLA Satyanarayan Sharma will preside over the programme. Special guests will be legislators Kuldeep Juneja and Vikas Upadhayay, and Prof Bharat Bhaskar, IIM, Raipur. Key speaker will be Dr S.K. Goyal, senior principal scientist and HOD, NEERI, Raipur.
On June 5, from 9.30 am poster writing competition will be organized for school and college students while quiz competition is scheduled for college students.
Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB) is organizing the event.
