To help the officers and employees to remain stress-free, a special Seminar on ‘Stress Management’ was organised at the Office of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Raipur, of the South East Central Railway (SECR) on Tuesday here.
DRM Raipur Rajiv Saxena presided over the programme along with Additional DRM Vivek Khare. Senior Divisional Safety Officer Anup Kumar Satpathi explained about the importance of Stress Management. The officers said that Railways play a major role in development of the country and it is therefore necessary that all its officers and employees remain stress free.
Stress Management speaker from Cosmic Vision Group, Sanjay Rahte said that stress at work place and in family is a common problem in present life style. But the situation aggravates if management of stress is not done timely. This also affects the efficiency of an individual and hence the profession he is involved in. Rahte gave a slide presentation and explained different aspects of stress.
He explained the reasons of stress, types of stress, ill effects of stress and steps to control stress. In the interactive session, the officers, supervisors and employees also expressed their views and raised questions which were satisfactorily replied by the experts. Earlier the experts were welcomed by Assistant Divisional Safety Officer JK Patra. Satpathi thanked Rahte and his team and all the officers and employees for participation in the seminar.
