Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday told officials of 10 districts worst hit by Covid-19 to take necessary steps to control the grim situation.
Baghel gave the instructions at a virtual review meeting with officials drawn from the health and administrative departments.
Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo was present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister also reviewed the arrangements in state hospitals to treat the Covid patients.
Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain and Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Renu G. Pillai were also present along with officers from Bemetara, Rajnandgaon, Bilaspur, Janjgir-Champa, Raipur, Raigarh, Baloda Bazar, Jashpur, Durg and Korba districts.
