Chief Minister Raman Singh on Tuesday informed Chhattisgarh Assembly that under a special package for private industrial units during 2016-17, a relief of Rs 380.44 crore from the head of Energy surcharge and another relief of Rs 251.76 crore from the Energy fee was provided in the State.
In a written reply to leader of Opposition T S Singhdeo, the Chief Minister informed that the Energy fee is calculated on the basis of tariff charged on energy consumed by a particular industrial unit.
