Union Minister of State for Railways Adheer Ranjan Chaudhary arrived at the Bilaspur Railway Station under South East Central Railway (SECR) here for a day-long visit by Howrah-Mumbai Express on Tuesday morning.
The Minister, immediately after his arrival, inspected the newly installed Escalator at Platform number one of Bilaspur Station.
later, after addressing a news conference, Chaudhary inaugurated the newly constructed ‘Type-4’ quarters near Sersa ground in the area coming under the Railways built at a cost of Rs 7.21 crore for the Gazetted employees.
Thereafter, the Minister chaired a review meeting in the Conference room of SECR headquarters in the city which was attended by General Manager, SECR and other senior officials of the division.
