As the temperature of Bilaspur reached 45 degree celsius on Saturday, the temperature in the state capital reached 44.2 degree Celsius which was three degrees more than the normal temperature, mentioned a report of the Meteorological Centre, Raipur.
Even Durg and Ambikapur recorded a difference of two degrees more than the normal temperature. The maximum temperature in Durg was 43.8 degree celsius and in Ambikapur it was 41.4 degree celsius.
Despite, the rising temperature, seasonal rainfall of around 31 millimeter to 44 millimeter was recorded in Raipur, Pendra Road, Bilaspur, Ambikapur and Jagdalpur, stated another data of the Meteorological Centre.
