The Raipur Railway Division won 13 shields during the 60th Railway Week held at NE Institute Auditorium recently. General Manager (GM) South East Central Railway (SECR) Rajiv Vishnoi along with office-bearers of SECR Railway Employee Union took part in the programme.
Addressing the gathering, the General Manager asked the Railway officers and employees to work towards building better image of Indian Railways. He told them to maintain quality work and congratulated them for successfully organising of the Week. Earlier, Deputy General Manager (DGM) and Chief Public Relation Officer Rajendra Kumar Agrawal presented a brief history of Indian Railways and informed the gathering about major achievements of the Department during the year 2014-15.
During the 60th Railway Week, five officers and 113 employees of South Central Railway were awarded during the program. Two officers and 27 employees of SECR were also awarded by Bishnoi. Raipur Division was awarded with 13 shields in different categories. Electric efficiency shield was given to Raipur division.
likewise WRS Raipur won accounts computerisation shield; Durg ACTl Depot won Electrical General Shield; M-5 Section ElS Bhilai won TRS shield; ROH Depot PP Yard Bhilai got Best Major depot shield; Raipur RPF Post got Best RPF Post shield; SSC Signal Raipur got Best Signal Depot shield; ROH Depot Bhilai got Best Store Depot shield; Raipur and Nagapur Division were jointly awarded with IT Implementation shield; Raipur Division were also awarded with Rajbhasha shield, Scout and Guide Shield, Best Crew Booking Point. The Overall efficiency shield went to Nagpur division.
