Death of four people was reported in separate incidents in Raipur on Monday. In two cases a youth and a woman reportedly committed suicide while one was knocked dead by some unidentified heavy vehicle.
According to DD Nagar police a 3 year old girl was electrocuted in her residence located at Changorabhata. The incident happened on Sunday evening, when the deceased identified as Jyoti Dheevar (3) daughter of Ajay Dheevar was playing in house where she came in contact with a live wire suspending freely from a fan in house, police said. A case in this connection has been registered.
In a separate incident body of a youth was found lying besides railway track in Kota area on Monday evening. The deceased was identified as Mahesh Nayak (26). The body was found near Mahesh Road lines in Kota. Saraswati Nagar police has registered a case in this connection but is yet to ascertain that the incident is suicide or not.
Civil lines police informed that body of a 30-year-old woman was found in her house located in Satnamipara area of Pandri on Monday morning. The deceased was identified as Anita Dahariya (30) daughter of Punaram Dahariya. The body was hanging with a scarf from the ceiling of house. Police is yet to find reason that what led to taking such an extreme step.
A laborer was killed when an unidentified heavy vehicle ran over him near the turning of SKS Ispat, Dharsiwa on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. The deceased was identified as Dabla alias Arjun Kanwar, hailing from Sipat area of Bilaspur. He was a worker of SKS Ispat and was returning house on a bike late Sunday night. Dharsiwa police informed that some unidentified heavy vehicle dashed him near SKS Ispat after which he was rushed to Dr BR Ambedkar memorial hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Police has registered case against the unidentified person and have begun investigation.
