Chief Minister Raman Singh will hand over development works worth around Rs 286 crore to the people of Raigarh district during his Vikas Yatra here on Friday.
Out of a total of 106 developmental works, the Singh would carry out inauguration of 56 works carried out at an estimated cost of Rs 325 crore while laying foundation stone for an additional 50 works to be taken up at a cost of around Rs 251 crore. During his visit, the Chief Minister would also distribute various items under different welfare schemes besides grants to the beneficiaries. Singh would also lay foundation stone for works worth Rs 49.48 crore under Atal Vihar Yojna for construction of 496 housing units besides a total of 60 MIG ‘Cell’ houses to be bulit at cost of Rs 8.74 crore apart from a large number of others works taken up in the district .
