The Chhattisgarh unit of the Congress party is going to hold three major motorcycle rallies in the State after Dussehra in which All India Congress Committee (AICC) vice-president Rahul Gandhi is expected to take part, informed Chhattisgarh Congress unit chief Bhupesh Baghel here on Wednesday.

“One rally will begin from Danteshwari temple Dantewada, second from Dongargarh temple Rajnandgaon and the third from Sonakhan of Baloda Bazaar,” Baghel said while talking to reporters at the party’s State headquarters, ‘Congress Bhawan’.

All the three rallies passing from various blocks will converge at Charama in Kanker wherein a public meeting will be held, he said.

Baghel charged that the ruling BJP Government was 'misusing police' for suppressing Congress party workers in Bastar.

Over a purported audio clip claiming the involvement of Kanker Congress District President Vikram Mandavi in a plot for attacking Forest Minister Mahesh Gagda, Baghel said at first, action should be taken against the son-in-law of Chief Minister Raman Singh in alleged Antagarh poll fixing case.

He charged that the Chief Minister had failed to deliver what he had promised.
