All India Congress Committee (AICC) national vice president Rahul Gandhi will be on a two -day visit of Bastar region in Chhattisgarh from Friday.
All senior leaders of the State, along with AICC In-charge of Chhattisgarh Pl Punia, are already in Bastar to prepare for the party’s national vice president’s visit, a party spokesperson said.
Former Union Minister Dr Charandas Mahant, and Former State Ministers Ravindra Chaubey and Satyanarayan Sharma, along with other leaders, have also proceeded for Bastar on Thursday. The party’s national vice president will also meet families of Naxal affected villages during his visit.
