Chhattisgarh Public Works Department Minister Tarawa Sahu on Monday declared that special monitoring by his department will ensure quality construction and warned that anyone compromising on quality will not be tolerated.
The Minister spoke after reviewing the departmental works at a meeting held in the Durg district panchayat office.
The Minister said residents of the constituency have a lot of expectations. Their demands and proposals are being included in the budget proposal.
Sahu said that during the visit of the Assembly area, people put demands related to basic facilities, which are being fulfilled on the basis of the utility of the work. He told the officials to be always vigilant in this regard.
He instructed the officers to ensure all possible facilities to be available in gouthans and they must become a center of livelihood activities.
The meeting was attended by District Panchayat President Shalini Yadav and Janpad Panchayat President Devendra Deshmukh.
