Sensing panic among bus driver and conductors of vehicles acquired for election purpose the Director General of Police Ramniwas has directed to ensure their (driver and conductors) boarding and lodging facility with the police troops.
According to official information free of cost food will be provided to the drivers/conductor of buses which have been acquired by police for election duty. The DGP has released a circular for the district Superintendent of Police in this connection. The DGP in circular said that SPs will have to ensure safety of the drivers/conductors. He also said that vehicles which are not required should be released immediately so that common man may not have to suffer inconvenience.
The DGP has also asked the Inspector General of police (IGPs) SPs to convene meeting of transport association and discuss matter with them.
