Bilaspur Division Commissioner Sonmoni Borah has directed the forest officers to promote tourism in Achanakmar Tiger Reserve (ATR). In this regard, the Commissioner held a meeting with the forest officials in Shivatarai village . The forest officers have been directed to take various measures to promote tourism.
Borah accompanied by forest officials and field staff conducted an inspection at the ATR. The Commissioner also visited Baiga tribal dominated village Tilaidabra and interacted with the villagers. The villagers brought their grievances before him. He directed the officers to resolve their grievances at the earliest.Borah also met the residents of villages to be relocated from the ATR.
