The ‘Polythene Carrybags Free BSP Township’ campaign was launched under the joint collaboration of Public Health Department (PHD) of Town Services under Bhilai Steel Plant and Bhilai Municipal Corporation (BMC) here.
As part of the campaign, the joint team consisting officials and employees from both PHD and BMC inspected about 42 shops in a ‘A’ Market in Sector -6 and warned the shopkeepers for not using polythene carry bags in future.The PHD under Town Services Department of BSP is disseminating the message of shunning the use of polythene bags through loudspeakers and banners installed on a vehicle in the township.
