A bus driver was stabbed to death in the Golbazar Police Station area on Sunday afternoon. His dead body was recovered from his residence with his throat was slit with knife, informed Sandeep Chandrakar, Station House Officer Golbazar.
Chandrakar said the deceased Rikhiram Sahu, 42 years, was bus driver by profession and he was not going to work for past several days as he had reportedly some stomach ache.
His wife Heena arranged treatment for her ailing husband and left for domestic work on Sunday morning in a nearby area, Sageena Mansion, where she works as a maid. But she was shocked to find the dead body of her husband when returned back to her house after completing work.
Police after the prima facie examination, found that the throat of the deceased was slit with the knife and there were 4-5 injuries marks around his stomach which gives impression that he was murdered. No arrest has been made so far.
