Based on specific tip-off, a police team has nabbed an alleged poacher with leopard skin in Gariaband district, police said on Saturday. The poacher has been identified as Prabhulal Vishwakarma.
According to police, on the receipt of input about a poacher looking for customer for leopard skin, a police team swung into action and succeeded in nabbing Vishwakarma from limits of Mainpur police station. From his possession, police have seized a leopard skin which market value estimated to be `2 lakh.
Police have registered a case against the accused under various sections of Wildlife Protection Act.
