The permission for holding election rallies and public meetings to the candidates and the political parties would be offered on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis.
The announcement was made at a meeting of the Election Standing Committee’s Permanent Committee members chaired by District Election Officer Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi.
The candidates and the representatives of various political parties attending the meeting were provided extensive details on the Model Code of Conduct, election expenditure besides other issues related to the polls.
