PCC chief Mohan Markam on Tuesday led the outreach programme of the Congress in village Sambalpur in Dhamtari district. The event was held to protest against the Modi government for soaring prices of essential goods.
The Congress has decided to reach out to the people at ward and Panchayat levels as part of a fortnight-long programme. This began on November 14 and will end on November 29.
The campaign revolves around price hike, inflation, monetization policy and the ongoing farmers' protests against the three farm laws of the Central government.
