Chhattisgarh crossed another milestone in Covid-19 vaccination drive as its count has crossed the 5 crore mark.
A total of 5,00,10,332 Covid-19 jabs have been administered till Sunday, an official communiqué said.
Among them, 2,24,49,317 were inoculated with the first dose, 2,02,65,772 with both doses and 72,95,293 with the precautionary dose.
Around 94 percent of the total eligible adult population in the state has got both the shots.
Sixty-two percent teens in the 15-18 age group and 55 percent of children in the 12-14 age group have received both shots.
A total of 1,85,13,230 c itizens above 18 years of age, 10,21,128 teens in the 15-18 age group and 7,31,364 children in the 12-14 age group have received both doses.
Besides, precaution doses have been administered to 17,78,411 health workers, frontline workers and people above 60 years of age and to 55,16,822 in the 18-59 age group, the communiqué said.
