More than 15,000 voters gathered at the highest peak in Chhattisgarh, the Gaurlata Mountain in Balrampur district on Tuesday, to raise awareness regarding coming Assembly elections.

The voters formed a human chain and called for 100 percent voting in the state.

This expedition has been recorded in the Golden Book of World Records.

Polling in Chhattisgarh is scheduled for November 7 and 17.

At 1,225 metres, Gaurlata is the highest peak in Chhattisgarh.
