Staff Reporter

The issues which are pending for disposal in the Supreme Court cannot be discussed in the House. In fact, the issues raised by the concerned people have themselves approached the Supreme Court, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh said while reacting to abrupt end to the Chhattisgarh Assembly's Monsoon session on Thursday.

"The Opposition is confused and are doubting each other. The people have given us the mandate to run the Government. One should not be harbouring doubts among each other", he said.

The Assembly is a place to hold discussions where you have calling attention and debates are held on adjournment motions and now there is a direct telecast of the proceedings and  entire country and State watch the proceedings. The Assembly is the biggest power and there is no other power like that, Singh said.

The ministers and officers have to work very hard to gather details. If any member is not satisfied with a reply, there are alternatives. We are ready to hold long discussions in the House, he said.
