Collector Mukesh Bansal has directed officials to open the bank accounts of 3.5 lakh families in the district under 'Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana' by December this year.
Chairing the time-limit meeting here, Collector Mukesh Bansal directed the officials to form a strategy for the proper execution of all work assigned in the district.
Bansal informed in the meeting that there was no minimum balance required to open the bank account and an overdraft of Rs 5000 after six months would also be provided to account holder if he or she maintained the account well.
