Bhilai Steel Palnt (BSP) Chief Executive Officer S Chandrasekaran inaugurated ‘online reporting’ of Biochemistry department at JlN Hospital & Research Centre here.
The function was presided over by Dr Subodh Hiran, Dir I/c-M&HS of BSP. Several other executive directors who attended the function were RK Nehru ED-MM, SB Jagdale ED-Proj, lT Sherpa ED-P&A, PK Sinha ED-Mines Rowghat, and NK Kapila ED-F&A.
Welcoming the guests Dr Hiran informed that ‘Online reporting’ will facilitate the outpatient employees of BSP to see their Biochemistry reports ‘online through BSP intranet at e-sahyog page’. For those, who don’t have an access or can’t see their reports online, a central counter is shortly being established for report distribution. Reports of inpatients of ICUs & Wards can also be seen for early treatment- decisions towards prompt and better patient-care.
Chandrasekaran encouraged and appreciated the move and wished successful operation of this facility.He stated that achievement has been made by ‘inhouse development’ of software & OPD and IPD modules by C&IT deptt. of BSP, Computer section & Biochemistry deptt. of JlNH&RC and Beckman & Coulter- the OEM of Olympus AU 640 & AU 400 Biochemistry Autoanalyzers.
Dr Maheep Bhalla, DMHS, R Sreenivasan, GM- C&IT and Dr Anurag Srivastava, Jt DMHS &HoD- Biochemistry welcomed the Chief guest, Chandrasekaran with floral bouquets and a short presentation on functioning of online Biochemistry reports was given by S&A and C&IT departments.
