The State Commercial Tax Department has done concise tax assessment in the cases of years 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11.
The Department has made online arrangement for refund of tax paid by the traders, without calling them to the department.The Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries Working President, Amar Dhavna and General Secretary Jain Jitendra Barlota, asked the traders to take more benefit of it and register their bank account online, so that the Commercial Tax Department could make online transfer of the refund amount to their respective accounts immediately. The refund for the period has to be done before April 30.
The Chamber officials have asked all the traders who have to get refund to register the bank account number of their firm online, so that they can get the total amount of refund within the time limit.The traders who find difficulty in registering their bank account number online can contact Coordinator of Taxation Committee, Rajesh Agrawal, at the Chamber office, or a lawyer.
