Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) Commissioner, Avanish Kumar Sharan on Tuesday held a meeting to review the progress of ongoing construction works in DD Nagar coming under RMC’s ‘zone-5.’
The civic body has commenced several works including construction of sewerage line, road, storm water line and garden in the Ward 69 of zone-5.The Commissioner instructed the officials concerned of carrying out close monitoring on the works and maintain quality of the construction.He gave a month time limit to complete all the works.
The Commissioner also instructed the officials concerned to repair the damaged drinking water pipelines and ensure supply of pure drinking water in the area.While the monsoon season sets in, many construction works in this area were underway. Sharan asked the officials concerned not to miss the deadline of August 15 for completion of all the works.
The Commissioner also appointed the Assistant Engineer, Sanjay Sharma at RMC zone-5 and assigned him the task of completing remaining works of development in the area.Sharan asked Sharma to coordinate with the zone-5 Commissioner and the Executive Engineer to speed up the works.
