A 20-year-old young woman was killed and another woman severely injured on Saturday when lightning struck a village in Chhattisgarh’s Surajpur district.
The incident took place when the residents of Bojha village went to a nearby jungle in Songara village to collect mushrooms, an official said.
The deceased was identified as Shyampati. Phool Kunwar (35) was severely injured.
