Malvinder Singh Soin, Regional Executive Director (West-II) paid a two-day visit to NTPC plant here on October 17 and 18 2013.
This was his first visit to Sipat after taking the charge of Executive Director, an NTPC press release issued here on Friday stated. Soin was accompanied by Executive Director, Y V Rao, other general managers and senior executives who visited Central Control Room of Stage-I and II, Boiler area and Turbine Room. He also had a talk with duty officers regarding plant operation.
During review meeting with Executive Director, general managers and Heads of Departments, Soin discussed all the matters related to plant operation and maintenance and other service related aspects. He also met the office bearers of employee unions and Associations and interacted on their issues related to employee welfare.
It may be mentioned that NTPC-Sipat was dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on September 19, 2013 and Sipat is the Model Station of NTPC to implement advanced environment friendly super critical technology.
