The 11th Regional Operation Performance Review (ROPR) of Western Region I and II of NTPC limited was held at Korba, here on Tuesday.
NN Misra, Director (Operation), NTPC limited was the chief guest of the programme. On the occasion, he also laid the foundation stone of wagon tippler. The wagon tippler is a latest technique to fast-track the unloading of coal.
The programme is an annual event which deliberates on operational issues and challenges among various stations of NTPC.
YV Rao, ED (Sipat), SK Roy, ED (Vindhyachal), heads of stations of Western Region I and II, and heads of operation departments of various stations were also present on the occasion. Others present on the occasion included GJ Deshpande, RED (WR I HQ, Mumbai) and SN Ganguly, ED (OS) and RED (WR II HQ, Raipur).
