As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), NTPC Korba has submitted a cheque worth Rs54.25 lakh to District Collector P Dayanand for the renovation of schools operational in five villages of Chhattisgarh’s Korba district.
The amount deposited by NTPC under CSR activity will be utilized by the district administration for renovation of schools in village Bandhapara, Atroudi Dand, Rava, Karimati and Kargamaar, a company press release informed.
On behalf of the company, the cheque to the Collector was handed over by Group General Manager of NTPC, Korba, Prakash Tiwari. On the occasion, General Manager (Operations) RK Raut and Additional General Manager (CSR) RK Sahu and other officials were present.
