NTPC Korba station on Tuesday handed over four toilets in the schools located in the vicinity as part of Swachch Bharat Abhiyan. The power station aims to complete 409 toilets in 267 schools in Katghora and Podi Oproda tehsil by July-end. The four toilets in the first phase have come up in Kanbery Primary School (boys and girls) and Dhanuharpara Primary School (boys and girls).
Speaking on the occasion, lakhanlal Dewangan, MlA, Katghora assembly seat, lauded the initiatives of the power station in realising the dreams of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prakash Tiwari, Group General Manager, NTPC Korba, Ram Kumar Sahoo, AGM, CSR and village representatives and school staff were present on the occasion.
