Directorate of Panchayat, Chhattisgarh on Tuesday issued the notification for reservation and allocation process for reservation of seats for three-tier panchayat elections.
The notification was issued under Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Act 1993, section 32, 129-D read with Chhattisgarh Panchayat (Deputy Sarpanch, chairman and vice chairman) Election Rule, 1995-Rule 3(4).
With the notification issued by Director, Directorate of Panchayat, Atal Nagar the reservation process will be held on November 18 from 12 pm at New Circuit House, Civil Lines, Raipur convention hall.
The reservation will be for all the 27 districts Zila Panchayats chairman post, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Categories, fixation of number of post and allocation of the SC, ST, OBC and unreserved women seats.
