AICC Chhattisgarh-in-charge P.L. Punia on Monday denied any resentment among Congress workers after appointments were made in boards and corporations.
Talking to the media, Punia said those not accommodated in boards and corporations would get key posts in the party. “There is no reason for workers to get disappointed."
Earlier, Punia was told that there were many posts lay vacant for promotion for Scheduled Caste employees in the government besides backlog in vacancies which were not being filled. The Congress will pay for this in the coming elections, they warned.
To the complaint and suggestions from the Scheduled caste wing, Punia said he will talk to the government for fulfilling the promises made in the 2013 election manifesto.
