No new patients of Covid-19 were reported from eight districts of Chhattisgarh, which also saw no death due to the virus. The positivity rate in the state stands at 0.17 percent.
The eight districts are Balod, Bemetara, Kabirdham, Mungeli, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Surajpur, Kondagaon and Narayanpur, an official statement said on Thursday.
Of the 37,905 samples tested across the state, only 64 patients were found to be positive. The positivity rate thus stands at 0.17 percent.
A Health Department statement said the active positive cases in the state is 974.
