Body of a 20-year-old woman was found hanging in her house at Rajendra Nagar on Wednesday. A suicide note was found with the body in which the deceased took responsibility for taking the extreme step, police said. According to police the deceased was identified as Jyoti Sharma (20) wife of Arun Sharma resident of Rajendra Nagar area.
Arun used to work in Columbia College and had left for college on usual time. “Around 5 pm when Arun returned, he found that there was no reply after repeated knocking on the door. He then somehow broke into the house and was shocked to see his wife hanging through the ceiling,” said officer investigating the case and added that the deceased was rushed to a private hospital nearby on 108 ambulance services where doctors declared her brought dead.
Police further said that Jyoti and Arun had tied nuptial knot in the month of February this year. Detailing about suicide note police said that Aruna in the suicide note had maintained that she was responsible for her death. Meanwhile police has sent the body for post-mortem and have registered a case in this connection.
