A newborn baby girl was found lying on the side of a canal on Mana-Banrasi road on Monday morning.
The baby has been admitted to Dr BR Ambedkar Memorial Hospital police said.
Station House Officer (SHO) Mana said some locals after hearing cries of a baby girl lying on canal side
informed the police.
On getting information about the girl being found on road side near canal, police reached the spot. A large number of people had gathered at the spot after seeing the baby. She was then taken to Dr BR Ambedkar Memorial Hospital.
Police informed that according to the doctors the baby was suffering from mild jaundice. Meanwhile, Mana police has registered a case in this connection against the parents of the baby and are trying to find them.
