Need to win all 11 seats: Raman tells BJP cadres

SR

Chief Minister Raman Singh on Thursday exhorted BJP workers to help him live up to the promise of winning all the 11 seats in the ensuing lok Sabha polls in Chhattisgarh.

“A party workers” convention is to provide a feeling of the ‘show of strength’. Based on the faith reposed on me by the party’s workers, the promise that I have made to the BJP National Council of winning all the 11 seats in Chhattisgarh, it is the responsibility of workers and us to fulfill the promise’ he said while addressing the party’s workers convention here.

Singh said that during the last lok Sabha polls, the party won 10 out of 11 seats. ‘This time we would win all the 11 seats’.He appealed to the party’s workers to visit every village and regions at the booth level and tell people about the failures of the UPA Government at the Centre.

“There is a ‘Narendra Modi’ wave flowing in the country including Chhattisgarh. One would have to work hard this time round to establish the BJP Government at the Centre”, Singh remarked.

BJP National General Secretary and In-charge for Chhattisgarh J P Nadda said, “Considering the massive crowd of party’s workers here, the Bilaspur lok Sabha seat would create a winning record”.

He said that the time has come to form a ‘Congress free Government’ at the Centre by putting the entire energy towards getting BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of the country’.
