In what could be said as a flicker of hope in the current Covid pandemic in Chhattisgarh, record 3,953 patients have recovered from the deadly viral infection in a day, officials said on Monday. On September 13, in all 1015 patients who were admitted in various hospitals across the state were discharged upon their recovery. On the same day 2,938 patients in home isolation also successfully completed their home isolation, officials said in a press release. “With record recovery of patients on September 13 the number of persons recovered has crossed the number of active cases in Chhattisgarh,” a health official was quoted in the press note. By September 13 in all 31,931 patients had recovered while there are 31,305 active Covid patients in state. Of the total recovered 3,736 recovered while being in home isolation, the press note added.
