In a major decision which will help students, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Monday that 10 acres of land in Nava Raipur will be given free of cost to establish a national level school here.
Baghel directed the Chief Secretary to consult the Education Department and other departments concerned and present a proposal for the upcoming cabinet meeting.
An official communication said that even after 20 years after Chhattisgarh's birth, there is no government or private school in the state which is counted among the prestigious schools of the country.
The Chief Minister said that to provide high-level education opportunities to students and to gain recognition at the national level, it is important to establish a well-equipped school that not only gives quality education but also presents opportunities for all-round development.
