Chhattisgarh Congress Raipur city president Vikas Upadhyaya has alleged in a statement issued here on Thursday said that a complaint would be lodged against Ministers, Brijmohan Agrawal and Rajesh Munat, with the Election Commission for alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct in the city.
Upadhyaya said that both, Agrawal and Munat, had been organising Garbas in ongoing Navratri season in which their pictures have been put up at venues. He alleged that large amount of money is being spent by the two Ministers for holding Jagratas in Durga pandals. Upadhyaya said that many Government officials and employees are still being seen at the bungalow of the two Ministers. The pictures of the Ministers had also not been removed from the screens at the railway stations, he alleged.
He said that a memorandum would be submitted to the CEO in the city on Friday.
