The State Cabinet has been formed after due consultations with the senior Congress leaders, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Tuesday.
We have paid due attention to regional and social balance when choosing Cabinet Ministers , said the CM while talking to reporters here.
Baghel said that the State Executive Committee meeting held today was a crucial one .It had been directed to the leaders that they pay attention to revision of electoral rolls for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
He said that the electoral process will commence from April this year and there had been this instance of polls being held in a single phase.
It had been decided in the meeting that like training camps held for workers at Assembly level, similar training camps will be held for Lok Sabha level.
The Lok Sabha polls in Chhattisgarh are expected to be held in mid-April and we will have to commence early preparations, Baghel said.
The participation of workers in candidate selection for Lok Sabha polls should happen, he said.
'I have urged the party high command to hand over the responsibility of managing CGPCC affairs to another colleague as it would be difficult for me to have dual responsibility of governance and managing the party's organisation', Baghel said.
