School Education Minister Kedar Kashyap has written a letter to all the MPs, MlAs, district panchayat presidents, Municipal Corporation Mayors, requesting them to visit schools, while taking tour of their respective constituencies.
Kashyap has urged them to guide students and teachers on subjects like hygiene, health and environment. He has stated in the letter that environment conservation and pollution control are one of the biggest challenges we are facing today.
“We believe that foundation of environment conservation and cleanliness campaign should be laid at school-level itself. It is the moral duty of each citizen to be cognisant of environment conservation, hygiene and personal health,” the Minister mentioned in the letter.
