Mayor Archana Choubey on Monday flagged off the ‘Save India Run’ organised as part of the ‘Youth Week’ which commenced here on Monday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Choubey in her address said that the run aims at spreading the message of Swami Vivekananda among the people.
The race started from Gandhi chowk ground and where students raised slogans to spread the preaching of Swami Vivekananda. Upper Collector P S Elma, District Education Officer Rakesh Pandey and other officials were present on the occasion.
