BJP’s National Mahila Morcha president and party’s lok Sabha candidate from Durg in Chhattisgarh, Saroj Pandey has now embarked on an aggressive national-level poll campaign after preparing the groundwork for the party's campaigns ahead of the lok Sabha polls.
“Our Mehndi programmes, besides worker conventions were held with great success across the country. The Mehndi programme comprised putting the lotus sign on the palms of women which remained on their palms for at least four days,” she said, talking to The Pioneer over phone while on a campaign tour.
She said that the Mahila Morcha’s biggest agenda is to see Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of the country.
“We had been receiving massive support from women across the country,” she said.
She agreed that women played a significant role in Chhattisgarh in ensuring BJP’s hat-trick win in the Assembly election.
