Unidentified Maoists torched four vehicles engaged in construction work in the insurgency-hit Sukma district, police said here on Saturday.
As per official information three Hyva, and a mixture machine that were engaged in road construction work at Chidpal under Tongpal police station limits were set on fire by Naxals on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, police said.
The vehicles were constructing road under Pradhan Mantri Grameen Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). The Maoist before setting vehicles assaulted the Hyva drivers and chased them away.
