Naxalites allegedly killed a man in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district.
The body of Rishu Punem was found on Monday morning near Pusnar village in Gangalur area, Bijapur Superintendent of Police Anjaneya Vaishnav said.
The incident came to light after some villagers informed the police that Punem’s body was lying on the road, a few kilometres from Pusnar village.
The Maoists killed the villager in a fit of rage after the killing of Gangalur Area Committee’s Jan Militia Commander Toya Potam by the police on January 12.
